The provision of high quality childcare and pre-school education is the number one priority at Burton Latimer Day Nursery. We work to National Standards and are regularly inspected by Ofsted against these Standards. Their reports are displayed in each nursery on the parent’s notice board and are also available to view on the Ofsted website (www.ofsted.gov.uk)

Investors in Children
Between September 2002 and July 2004, the nursery worked towards an ‘Investors in Children’ Quality Assurance award. The nursery is now recognised as an Investor in Children having completed the Effective Early Learning project.

Investors in People
The Nursery was recognised as achieving the Investors in People standard in September 1997 and re-recognised in August 2000 and July 2003. Burton Latimer Day Nursery was the first children’s day nursery in Northamptonshire to achieve the standard.

Heartbeat Award
In 1993, our High Street premises was awarded a ‘Heartbeat Award’ for our high standard of catering and healthy menus. We were the first children’s day nursery in the Borough of Kettering to gain the award, which has been renewed every year. We await news that our Burton Park premises has also gained the award.
